There are three things you will notice immediately when looking at my photographs.
I draw the space with light and shadows and create the atmosphere and tone with framing and colors.
I document the essence of life – the joy of life!
And last but not least, the foundation of it all, I flow on the endless waves of my curiosity. Curiosity for everyone and for everything.
I am one of those photographers who use prime lenses. I draw inpiration from the works of Helmut Newton, Ansel Adams, Richard Avedon, Michael Drozd. But it was Elliot Erwitt who managed to capture the essence of what photography and life are to me, as I quote:
“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them”.
